PANTAO POLICIES

Customs & Duties

Who handles import clearance, duties, taxes and destination restrictions.Effective and last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Import charges

Unless checkout expressly states that duties and taxes are included, the recipient is responsible for import duty, VAT, sales tax, brokerage, handling and other destination charges. These amounts are set by authorities or carriers and are not controlled by Pantao.

2. Importer responsibilities

The recipient may be treated as the importer and may need to provide identification, tax information, product information or payment to clear the parcel. Check local rules before ordering. Pantao does not provide tax or customs advice.

3. Restrictions and seizures

Do not order items prohibited or restricted at the destination. Pantao screens for known risks but cannot guarantee admission by every authority. If a parcel is refused, abandoned, returned or seized because of destination rules or failure to complete clearance, refunds may be reduced by unrecoverable product, duty, storage, disposal and return costs where permitted by law.

4. Incorrect assessment

Questions or appeals about a customs assessment normally must be made to the carrier or authority. We can provide available invoice or shipment records to support a reasonable request.
